Moszna Castle opening hours: three schedules, not one

The short answer: the park, the towers and the chambers open on three different timetables. On the castle’s price list the park runs 8:30–16:30 from Monday to Thursday and 8:30–18:30 from Friday to Sunday, tower tours run daily 9:00–17:00, and chamber tours run 9:00–12:00 from Monday to Thursday, with a second 17:00–20:00 block from Friday to Sunday. The castle separately recommends visiting the chambers between 9:00 and 15:30.

The chambers close earliest, and that is the trap

Most people who leave Moszna disappointed arrived in the afternoon expecting to see rooms. On the castle’s published schedule the chamber tours sit in a morning block from Monday to Thursday, from 9:00 to 12:00. Friday to Sunday adds an evening block from 17:00 to 20:00, which is the only regular way to see the interior late in the day. The castle also states a recommendation, separate from the schedule, that the chambers are visited between 9:00 and 15:30. Groups should buy their tickets up to 15 minutes before the scheduled tour time.

The park and the towers are far more forgiving. Tower tours hold a 9:00 to 17:00 window every day, and the park stays open until 18:30 in the second half of the week. If you arrive at 16:00, the towers and the park are the visit you are going to get. What each of those covers is described on what to see at Moszna Castle.

Where the castle’s own sources disagree

We would rather show you the contradiction than pick a side. There are two of them.

Neither of those is a mistake we can resolve from outside the building, and neither is a reason to distrust the castle. Opening times at a working hotel and events venue move for weddings, conferences and concerts, and the published pages are updated at different times. The venue publishes both at mosznazamek.pl.

Ticket prices by season

The castle sells the park, the towers and the chambers in combinations rather than separately, and prices sit in three seasonal bands. Reduced rates are in brackets.

April to October, in PLN: park 24 (14); towers and park 44 (28); guided chambers and park 57 (37); unguided chambers and park 52 (32); towers, unguided chambers and park 72 (46). December to February, in PLN: park free; towers and park 20 (14); guided chambers and park 33 (23); unguided chambers and park 28 (18); towers, unguided chambers and park 48 (32). March and November: the castle publishes a weekday and weekend split, with the park free on weekdays and 24 (14) at weekends and chamber tours running roughly 18 to 57 depending on type and day. The guided “Daily Life of the Castle” tour needs a reservation and is listed at 70 to 94 PLN. The reduced rate applies to children aged 3 to 15, students with identification up to 26, pensioners with identification, people with a significant disability, and holders of the Large Family Card or the Opole Family Card. Under-threes go free.

Ticket prices above are the figures Moszna Castle publishes on its own price list, checked in August 2026. The castle states it may change visiting hours and tour availability, so confirm on the official price list before you travel.

One more thing the price list makes clear: an entrance ticket to the palace and park grounds is required in addition to the chamber-tour ticket. Tickets are sold online at bilety.mosznazamek.pl and at the souvenir shop by reception on the first floor.

Insider tip

The evening chamber block from Friday to Sunday is the single most useful line on the castle’s timetable. It is the only regular slot that lets a visitor who drove after lunch still see the rooms.

Hotel and restaurant times

If you are staying, breakfast runs from 8:00 to 11:00 in the Breakfast Room, also called the Samek Room, on the second floor. Check-in is from 15:00 and check-out is by 11:00. Restaurant and café tables are not reservable, so seating is first-come, which is worth knowing on a summer weekend. To decide which band of the year suits you, read the best time to visit.

Arriving on someone else’s schedule

A private tour from a city is timed by the operator to land inside the useful hours rather than against them, which is the practical answer to a morning-only chamber block. Live dates are below. If you are driving yourself, work backwards using how long you need at Moszna Castle.
